Stuck

Stuck at a jam. Tmr is a work day.
But lume shot anyway. My S3 basically is my lume charging equipment. It just happens to be able to have email, data, phone calling function.

If I could, what would?

Have always been seeing these forums asking these questions.
"If you could have any watch in the world, what would it be?"

The problem with that is, it seems to limit people to usually 1 piece or 3 pieces. Why can't I have any watch I want since I can have any watch in the world?

We should all have such a lists, the only limitation is that I has to be worn, hence, if you have any allergies (nickel, bronze, steel) it cannot be included. I have a small wrists, so 47mm panerai, as much as I love it, It cannot wear it without looking funny.

As such, my top 10! (coming up with 10 is really difficult, 1 wrists and 7 days a week).

This is just a because I can watch. As a man, one cannot always be humble. Sometimes you have to assert your presence, flaunt your stuff

This one boasts some very fine and redundant craftsmanship.

9. Sinn U1

It very simple why people like this watch, its simple. Tough exterior unique dial and hands theme. People have been raving about the rubber straps, the deployant buckles. Very excite.

8. Bell and Ross

This is the watch that got me interested in watches. Everyone has their own pusher, and this is mine. People can say all they want that this is a fashion watch, but this is one of the first of its kind, it made everyone became even crazier with big watches.

7. Rolex Submariner

This watch to me is one of the epitome of sport and class combined. Within a venn diagram, this watch will be at the centre of Style, Function,

Who doesn't have this watch? Despite my tendency to stay away from mainstream stuff, this watch is still the one that everyone has and raves about, literally everyone! So it's got to have something otherwise it would be around for 50 years and still look the same to the layman since day 1.

More keen on the military submariner version that is without the merc hands. This old thing is supposed the most expensive piece in the list at north of $250k at least.

6. Ball Skin Diver

Just love this watch for the name. Imagine the number of conversations starting with this. And also the gas tube lume.

5. Seiko Marine Master

Didn't ever hear of this watch until recently when Jap mechanicals came to my attention. People described this as the perfect watch and I'm starting to see why. Also, it is hard to find anyone who will spend more than $1k on a Seiko.

4. Raketa Zero

This is one of the things people stumble upon that is just great. Lingering in the dive watch forum would not allow me to discover anything new that is of a non-divers nature.

This watch design just speaks so much for itself for so little. That big ass zero is unique, minimalist and pleasant.

Its out of production since before I was born and it is very hard to get without people from Evil-bay attempting to sell it at a mark up.

3. Panerai Radiomir

The 45 mm is the one that fits me more, I wear the homage and I love the way it looks. The most unique feature here is the wire lugs, it is just different. Coupled with the sexy lume. But this model is not with the diamond crown that people see in modern radiomirs today. Still nice nonetheless.

2. Helson Skin Diver
The helson skin diver is an obvious nod to Blancpain's fifty fathoms. But I do not know why, I seem to be more attracted to this model over the real one. Perhaps with its C3 lume and modern shaping.

1. Panerai luminor

This is the nice of nice, beauty of beauty for me. Simple, elegant, wrist presence. This watch does it all for me. Did I mention that it is a winding watch? Its just lovely, after liking homages, I feel that this is one of the things I come to love.

Its also the outstanding crown guard.

Panerai can give all the funny numbers they want but to me, its either a luminor or radiomir or submersible then the size, then the funny complications that it has.

So this watch is just a 44mm luminor, manual winding and sec subdial.

I just love it, whether it is a manual or auto, have sec hand or not. It is just the simplicity that I pursuit, the look, the sandwich dial. All of those just reminds me why I love time pieces.

Daylight

Feeble attempts in capturing lume in the day. Should have use a dslr for it..anyone got one to spare?

Sea Monster

Visited a ship from work wearing this.

Its just awesome.
